The two men assigned our job were on time and did a reasonable job of packing up the items of furniture they were asked to move. They had clearly not been briefed properly by Head Office because when they arrived, they were surprised about the things they had to move despite us having had someone from the company to the house to see the items and provide a quote.

They didn't have enough wardrobe boxes for the number of wardrobes we had, despite having advertised that they would take clothes out of wardobes, put them in hanging boxes and then put them back in the same state they'd taken them out.

They scratched a desk as they took it up the stairs in our new home, scraping the paintwork on the bannister as they went. They initially said they would take £30 off the bill, which I didn't feel was acceptable.

They put some of the wardrobe doors on upside down, so that two wardrobes that were identical and in the same room had handles at different heights. They put shelves back in at the wrong heights, and put the clothes back in in a terrible mess - some wardrobes nearly empty, one so full I had trouble getting any of the clothes back out again because they were so tightly packed.

They came back to sort out the wardrobe doors, but they're still a mess - don't meet in the middle and still the handles are not aligned. Not at all as they were originally. They arranged a French polisher to address the desk scratch, which now looks OK but only after a week without the desk and the associated upheaval of that.

When I queried these things with a view to having some money taken off the bill for an inadequate service, I was told that "the job had been done" so no discount was available. They spoke to me like I'd done something wrong, rather than them.

All in all, it was a horrible experience, and I wish I could go back and not book them. I think the two men who came round were expecting a smaller job thanks to not having been briefed properly, so they hurried and cut corners to get it done and the damage and mistakes were the result of that. That combined with the unpleasant response we got when we queried the errors ruined our first night in our new home.

I was dreading this day but these lads just took all the stress out of it for us. Really great bunch of guys who understood completely how stressful a move was for us. it was a great price aswell and was all done in one day. I was able to just put my feet up and make them tea. I really appreciate everything they did and put up with that day . I highly recomend these chaps to anyone and will do if friends or colleagues are moving house at anytime. I don't plan to move anytime soon again but next time, I will be giving you a another call.  Thanks alot guys much appreciated.

The team turned up on time to my move in coventry. I was very stressed prior to this move as I have never done it before. they put me at ease from the beginning and Paul was always on the other end of the phone to answer any questions. Even before my move they delivered 50 boxes to my house.. Nothing was broken on the day and everything was protected on their lorry and I was particularly impressed with their tv protector. I would recommend them again to all of my friends. Thanks guys. If I move again then I will call you again.

I was moving into my first home in Nottingham when I asked united movers to help me. These guys were great, they made the job really easy which is what you want when moving into your first home. All I had to do was instruct them where I wanted my items when they arrived. They packed and moved the lot. I would definetly recommend their service to anyone looking to move house or office. All items were safely moved without damage, which is one thing I worried about when moving a longer distance. Thanks again to Dave and the guys.

When moving everyone hopes it will go easy and smooth but never the case. Wrong. What a smooth and way day I had, first a ca in the morning confirming then Dave and his team come on time and were very good time me I did not have to lift a finger, they got all my house boxed and straight in the van.
I did not have to ask anything or say anything,it was like a tv programme staged but real.
I can not talk highly of what a Great job they did and will recommend 100%.
